Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago before moving to the United States at the age of 20. He has cooked at the prestigious James Beard Foundation and has been featured in The New York Times and Food & Wine Magazine for his contributions to modern Caribbean cuisine. Chef Picky is a celebrated culinary artist known for his bold Caribbean flavors and global influence.
Chef Picky is joined by master mixologist Maritza "Ritzy" Rodriguez. Raised in Brooklyn by Haitian parents who taught her that food and drink aren't just for eating and sipping, they're for gathering, storytelling, and keeping culture alive. For Ritzy, the kitchen table was where memories were made, and the bar because her stage to keep those stories going.
Collaborating with both Chef Picky and Maritza is Gabrielle's own Chef Isaac Werre. Chef Isaac began his culinary career at Le Cordon Bleu in Minnesota, where he was born and raised. After graduating, he trained under Chef Norman Van Aken at Carysfort in Miami, then went on to work at top restaurants like Geronimo (Santa Fe), Boka (Chicago), and Chez T.J. (San Francisco). He later returned to Minnesota to be a personal chef for NBA star Kevin Love. Craving the restaurant scene again, Isaac moved with his wife to Paso Robles, CA, where he joined Justin Vineyards. During his time there, The Restaurant at Justin was named Food & Wine’s “Winery Restaurant of the Year.”
