Is there an age requirement to reserve an overnight stay at Hotel Bennett?
We welcome guests with a legally verified age of at least 21 years old. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
Where can I park my oversized vehicle?
The nearest parking location for oversized vehicles is at the Charleston Visitor's Center parking garage at 63 Mary St. The garage is conveniently located within an 8-minute walk from Hotel Bennett.
How much does it cost to valet my vehicle?
We offer valet parking at an overnight rate of $47 and daily rate of $18. You will receive complimentary in and out access 24 hours per day.
Can valet charge my electric vehicle?
We recommend charging your electric vehicle at the Charleston Visitor's Center parking garage located at 63 Mary St. This is conveniently located within an 8-minute walk from Hotel Bennett.
Do you have to be staying at the hotel to use the pool?
Yes, you must be an overnight guest of Hotel Bennett to access the pool.
Is the pool open year-round?
Yes, the heated rooftop pool is open year-round for our overnight guests.
Is Hotel Bennett dog friendly?
We welcome a maximum of two (2) dogs per guestroom, per stay and should not exceed 25 pounds each. A non-refundable $200 cleaning fee per stay will apply. Dogs are permitted at our dining outlets, when seated outside with an owner. Unfortunately, we are not able to allow dogs on the rooftop.
How may I purchase a gift card?
You may purchase a gift card of any value online at hotelbennett.com/gift-cards or in-person at The Spa at Hotel Bennett.
Does your restaurant have a dress code?
We suggest the following dress attire guidelines to keep in mind when you are planning and packing for your visit to Hotel Bennett:
We do request elevated guest attire for evenings. Our preferred dress is business casual, jackets are requested but not required. A collared shirt and tailored pants or well-kept denim are required for gentlemen. We ask that our guests do not wear flip flops at Gabrielle.
Hats are not permitted in any of our dining outlets or lobby after 6 pm.
May children dine at your restaurants?
Yes, children are welcome to dine at all outlets.
Are reservations required at your restaurants?
Gabrielle requires reservations for dining after 5 pm. Breakfast and lunch reservations are recommended but not required. The Gabrielle Lounge is first come, first serve.
Fiat Lux does not require reservations, and is first come, first serve.
Camellias requires reservations for Afternoon Tea during the following times:
Friday and Saturday Tea Times: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Sunday Tea Times: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm | 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Camellias lounge service is first come, first serve:
Monday - Thursday | 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Friday - Saturday | 5:00 pm - 12:00 am
How many floors does your hotel have?
Hotel Bennett offers nine floors. Our guest rooms are located on the third to eighth floors of the hotel. You will find our lovely venues located on the first, second and ninth floors.
Do you have a fitness center?
Hotel Bennett features an on-site Fitness Room for guests located on the second floor. The Fitness Room is accessible 24/7 with treadmills overlooking King Street, two state of the art Peloton bikes and weight lifting equipment. If you prefer to take your exercise outside, we have 4.26 mi and 2.5 mi running maps available to guide you through the streets of Charleston.
What room categories have connecting options?
To guarantee a connection of two guest rooms, we recommend choosing a two-bedroom suite. These can be reserved by contacting our reservation's team at 843-203-0922. In addition, some of our Deluxe Double Queen Rooms will connect to a Deluxe Double Queen Accessible room. The other connecting room category is a Deluxe King room to an additional Deluxe King room.
What is Hotel Bennett’s cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the package booked and will be outlined both within the booking engine and your confirmation email. Please call 843.203.0922 to cancel or modify a reservation.
Do you offer rollaway beds?
Yes, we can provide a rollaway bed upon request. Please note that our large furnishings often prohibit the safety of a rollaway bed in many of our guest rooms.
How long is the drive from the airport?
Charleston International Airport is located just 11 miles from Hotel Bennett, approximately a 25–30-minute drive.
Do you have a business center?
Our front office offers printing and scanning services. All guests receive complimentary WIFI.
